For the eighth consecutive year, Finland conquers the title of happiest in the world, having found the absolute secret of life. Greece, on the other hand, was left out of 80.
If Happiness had a homeland then that would definitely be the Finland. It is no coincidence that for the eighth consecutive year, the Scandinavian country conquers the title of happiest in the world in the world World Happiness Exhibitionleaving behind all the cosmopolitan hotspots that promise the absolute quality of life.
And the best? The Finns do nothing sophisticated. They are not based on material goods or extravagant luxuries. They live simply, close to nature, rely on each other and have made balance into lifestyle.
Their environment certainly plays a huge role. Finland is full of lakes, endless forests and fresh air, creating a backdrop that seems to have come out of a fairy tale. People there don’t need much to feel complete. It is enough for a walk in the woods, a dip in frozen waters and a hot sauna is enough to relax. You may sound extreme, but the Finns consider it a daily routine that not only rejuvenates the body, but also drives stress.

Their social culture is also “built” in security and trust. The state ensures that it meets the basic needs of citizens, from health and education to social support, allowing them to live without excessive stress for the future. Inequalities are small, corruption almost non -existent, and citizens feel that their lives have stability.
Their happiness, however, is also hidden in the way they see life. The Finnish philosophy of “Sisu” is the art of perseverance and mental durability. They are not people who will panic easily or enter an endless demonstration race.
On the other hand, Greece was found quite low in World Happiness Exhibition. Our country is for this year at position 81, losing several positions in recent years on that list. It is noteworthy that in 2021 and 2022 we were in number 58, while last year we were 64th and this year 81st.
It is worth noting that in the last places on the list are Afghanistan, Sierra Leone and Lebanon.
