A couple who love Christmas created an entire blockbuster in their home for the holidays.
The couple Gary and Anna Grayspent a year preparing the most fantastic home for the days of Christmas. They managed to transform their home into Armadalein West Lothianin a high-end Christmas light show technology.
Hundreds of people arrive at their home Gray to watch the amazing display, which has become known in the area as “Armadale illuminations».
It has more than 24,000 lights and about 150 props – among which LED Christmas trees, candy canes and angel wings.
Everything is connected through Gary’s laptop and synchronized with music.
It takes 10 months to design and another six weeks to build. “As soon as an exhibition is over, we already start planning for the next year“, says o Gary.
“Even during it Christmas show, we start thinking about next year – about the songs, the sequences, the sets. It starts in January».
During the summer, Gary he spends time building and repairing the sets and uses his skills from his job as a computer programmer to lights up in combination with music.
“Since October, it’s all I do”says o Gary.
“As soon as I finish my work, I immediately start preparing everything. The work of preparation is enormous».
More than 2,000 visitors from all over Scotland expected to come to their home Grays to watch it 30 minute light show, which is played every Thursday to Sunday night throughout its duration Decemberas well as the stay of Christmas.
