In a viral video, a TikTok user found that the image of the moon differs from hemisphere to hemisphere and left users stunned.
The first one full moon of time also called “Moon of the Wolf“, made her appearance in the night sky on Monday.
In our country, due to bad weather conditions, it was not particularly visible. However, the social media they were “flooded” with impressive photos of the moon from every corner Europe.

But it turns out that people in different countries they don’t see the same thing at all.
Although the moon always remains the same, its appearance changes significantly depending on which hemisphere you are in.
That means someone looking at the moon from Australia will see it “upside down” compared to someone living in Greece.
In a viral video, a TikTok user named Corey said: “Why weren’t we taught in schools that the way we see the moon in the southern hemisphere is the opposite of the way we see it in the northern hemisphere and vice versa. I moved to a different hemisphere and it took years to realize that.”
Corey isn’t the only one shocked by his discovery, as social media users have flooded the comments to express their surprise.
Although it may seem strange, the fact that the moon can look so different is simply a consequence of the fact that we live on a globe.
