Young people are leaving for big cities, leaving behind abandoned houses, small businesses to wither and a way of life that is in danger of disappearing. To prevent this, the area of TentinoIn the northern part of the country, it has decided to take action and provide brave financial incentives for those who are willing to move there, develop business or work remotely from a calmer and authentic environment.
More specifically, a total of forty -three cities in the area have entered the program and the Trento City Council has pledged 10m euros to fund it within two years. But there is a small trap. The 100,000 euros are not simply donated to “vacation” to the villages of the area, enjoying local wines and walks in the Alps. This money is intended exclusively for renovating an abandoned house in the area. In particular, 20,000 euros are given for the purchase of home and 80,000 euros for restoration work.
