The Ultimate World Cruise, whose prices range from about $54,000 to $117,000 per person, is officially coming to an end after nearly nine months at sea – and one of its celebrity passengers has mixed feelings about it.
In February, the TikToker kept her followers updated when the cruise, operated by Royal Caribbean, was faced with a major itinerary change due to the war in the Middle East
The traveler, who goes by the name drjennytravels, has built up a loyal following who share content from her remarkable (and long) journey. He went viral for sharing dispatches from the difficult journey through the stormy Drake Passage to Antarctica in January and when the ship encountered a “frightening” fog in May.
The end of this adventure
In a TikTok shared on August 10, Dr.Jenny began a countdown to the final month of her Serenade of the Seas cruise and expressed her sadness over the months-long voyage coming to an end.
“Today marks one month since the start of my nine-month world cruise and I have mixed feelings about it,” he says in the video. “I feel sad, anxious and kind of dreading the end of this adventure – but on the other hand, we still have a month of cruising ahead of us.”

She adds that she is excited for the friends who will join her for part of the trip from Copenhagen to Amsterdam in the last month.
In February, the TikToker kept her followers updated when the cruise, operated by Royal Caribbean, was faced with a major itinerary change due to the war in the Middle East.
At the time, the cruise line confirmed to PEOPLE that it was going to cancel the original itinerary of the nine-month voyage through the Red Sea and Suez Canal in May in order to keep passengers and crew members safe. Cruise passengers then had two alternative itineraries, which Dr. Jenny explained on another TikTok.
The itinerary
The Ultimate World Cruise departed Miami on December 10th and will return to the same port on September 10th. The cruise lasts 274 nights and visits a total of 160 destinations, including eight world “wonders,” according to the official website.
Consisting of four legs – the ‘Ultimate’ Americas, Asia Pacific, Africa, Southern Europe and the Europe and Beyond cruise – the voyage is currently on its final leg passing through Norway .
