Twitter exposes Giorgos Autias for comparing prices in Greece and Belgium (vid)

The price comparison in Greece and Belgium by Giorgos Autias was commented by a social media user.

A social media user, Mr Dimitris Savvidiswho often “uploads” videos of the prices abroad where he lives and in Greece, made another post after Giorgos Autias’ visit to Laika in Brussels.

In particular, the New Democracy MEP visited a public market in Brussels a few days ago and compared the prices in Greece and Belgium.

Giorgos Autias commented in the video that the fish are very expensive (sea bream 50 euros per head), while he recorded with the camera the prices of products such as oil, olives and various other products which were more expensive compared to Greece.

In fact, the presenters of the SKAI show Dimitris Oikonomou and Akis Pavlopoulos, who presented the video together with the MEP in the studio, commented on the prices saying that the salaries

“What prices are these, George? This is theft, my child, let’s not imagine that the wages are high. The bottom may be 1100 ok, but 74 and 50 (the euro price of oil) is not a struggle”, Dimitris Oikonomou had characteristically mentioned.

So after that the social media user, Dimitris Savvidis, commented on what he saw and heard saying: “A video from our first MEP, who went to a fish delicatessen under the European Parliament and compared fish prices between Brussels and Greece. Meanwhile, Mr. MEP, the prices you showed are not much more expensive than Greece. What you didn’t say is that Belgium has a minimum wage of 2000 euros and the prices were similar to the prices in Greece“, he said among other things.”
