The Greek TikTok “bowed down” to two young men, who helped an elderly couple, who lived under tragic conditions in a village of Larisa.
In particular, the two young men about a month ago toured various villages Thessaly and visited the beautiful mountains of Elassona. There, quite by chance, they discovered an elderly couple in Verdicousia who lived under squalid conditions in a dilapidated house.
The two young men spoke to the elderly who said that if their 50-year-old son stopped supplying them with some food they would die of hunger.
Afterwards, the two children went to a local supermarket, filled bags with food and basic necessities and took them to the couple, appealing to those who pass by the area to visit them to help them in any way they can.
The video they uploaded to the platform quickly went viral, garnering thousands of views, with derogatory comments pouring in. In fact, since the video was posted dozens of people have said they are willing to help the elderly couple, with one asking the young people for information to travel to the area and repair their house.
“The sob in his voice when he says go to my good lad…”, “With two bags of stuff they hugged. Well done guys and for the information we will find them”, “But….People with Dignity, Proud, with Greatness of Soul…”, “All we have is us” were some of the comments that stood out.
