Youtuber bought a house from Amazon for 36,000 euros.
THE YouTuber Nathan Graham, from the channel Unspeakablebought a… prefab house from the online retailer Amazon against 36 thousand euros.
At videothe Youtuber posted the prefab home arrived on site packed in cardboard with the streamer and his friends starting to assemble it and make their final form.
One of them described it as “kind of small” before they realized they had to “unfold” it first, creating an impressive space that included a kitchen, separate bathroom and lots of windows. “We just built a house from Amazon. I was kind of worried that we would be scammed into buying this thing because it had zero reviews“, he said.
The team also bought everything they needed to live in, explaining: “We’ll see if it’s possible to fully live your entire life just from Amazon».
However, they soon encountered a problem when they tried to plug in the refrigerator as they realized that the house is not wired for electrical appliances. “I’m trying to find somewhere to plug in the fridge, but there are no electrical outletsGraham said.
It turned out that the YouTubers he had not read a fairly integral part of the product description, which read “Reminder: The mobile prefab home is not wired. Please hire an electrician for US standard wiring. Stay safe!”
Fortunately, Graham had purchased a generator that could power their electrical appliances, including the refrigerator and an 80-inch television.
Amazon also notes that the home does not come with a water source or sewer and drain connections, and that it is up to the customer to provide them.
