Wedding ala Pasok in Agrinio: “Good morning Sun”, green flags and smoke generators

The newlyweds, Nikos Asvestopoulos and Panagiota Triantafyllidis, joined the bonds of marriage on Sunday in Agrinio. However, they did not want their wedding to be formal. You know, rice, a romantic song, meal. Instead, they wanted to impress – and they did.

The couple wanted to give their own touch to the holy mystery, bringing the orthodox “PASOK” to the important event. The guests, as we can see from the photos, are holding PASOK flags as they follow them, while we also see smoke machines.

After the mystery in I.N. Agios Konstantinos was followed by a reception in a well-known multipurpose hall of the city, with the couple’s entrance being more “green” than ever.

Naturally, photos and videos from the wedding – which Andreas Papandreou would be jealous of – were released all over the internet, with the couple going viral.

The sound of the well-known song “Good morning sun” of course could not be missing – the song is now a registered trademark of PASOK (Myrsini Loizou, daughter of the composer Manos Loizou has requested that the song not be used by PASOK) made the atmosphere even more exciting.

It is worth noting that the families of the newly married couple are of Pontic origin, so the celebration did not only have “pasok” characteristics, as the newlyweds also wanted to honor their Pontic roots.
