However, people are adamant that they “never eat ice cubes again” after seeing how they are made.
Ice machine service technician – nicknamed “Ice Machine 411” – deals with the machines “almost every day” and obviously knows what’s going on.
The content creator repairs, cleans and replaces ice machines while sharing his secrets with his social media and followers.
In one of his many videos, the technician takes a look at what appears to be an old ice machine that is – shall we say – not in the best condition.
The internet was completely disgusted by what he found, and people are saying they’re going to quit ice for good.
“So ice or no ice? Let’s see,” he begins as he approaches the machine.
After you open it up and take a look at the actual ice, everything looks good.
Lifting the lid off the ‘ice making’ compartment, Ice Machine 411 discovers black mold on it.
He said mold is the “common root cause of autoimmune issues, gut issues, skin issues, brain fog, fatigue and more.”
Pointing to the ceiling of the white box, the expert continues to find more mold, explaining, “That’s not good either, the ice is made in there and it’s literally everywhere.”
He then takes the machine apart to show all the compartments where the ice is made – and they’re all plagued by black mold.
