The Japanese trick for folding jackets: This way they take up less space in the wardrobe

With prices per square meter in homes skyrocketing, it’s good to be able to save as much space as possible to store all your clothes.

Once the houses were mostly large and spacious. As the years go by, however, finding housing becomes more and more difficult, with the result that many turn to smaller and smaller apartments.

This results in us constantly thinking of ways to store all our possessions. Surely no one wants to give up their books, their favorite objects and of course their clothes. So what do we do when we have to store old jackets or jacket that we don’t wear that often and which take up space in the closet?

The Japanese woman answers this Marie Kondoa consultant for the organization and proper management of small spaces, who in her courses and television programs gives little tricks for better folding of clothes. The key for Kondo is to make small “packages” with each of the jackets and mostly leave the inside out, to protect them as much as possible.

Perhaps, now that winter is approaching and the cold is not the right time to fold and store jackets, however, this way we will be properly prepared for when we need to put them away.
