TikToker and YouTuber ‘Mountain Bee’, who is particularly popular among Gen Z, among other things, for the quirky recipes he shares on his personal social media account, has made a statement about how much money his videos make on YouTube.
More specifically, the TikToker, who counts almost 870,000 followers and 77,000,000 likes, said: “Because many of you tell me that I make half a million and some crazy numbers etc. I wanted to give you a little taste so that you understand(…)I am a creator i make short videos not long and you can test it. B.C. this video, which is one of my most successful on my YouTube channel, has made five euros. I tell you the truth. Generally the payouts are not huge and to tell you the truth it was never my goal to make a lot of money guys. Nor to become a millionaire, as I often read. You can’t get huge payouts from these videos.”
“How much to do? Fifteen a day and say you get paid 2-3 euros from each one? In the comments section below the “Mountain Bee” video, many questioned the meager amounts the TikToker mentioned. “But you don’t talk about the gifts on live on tik tok” wrote one user, with the TikToker replying: “Even if things are miserable there. Tiktok keeps 70 percent there, so I don’t want anything.”
