In Spain, dating apps are probably passé and outdated, judging by the fact that they discovered a new way to flirt and meet a new partner. We are referring, of course, to TikTok’s viral method, which has apparently led to various problems. But let’s start things from the beginning.
This trend is inspired by 2017, when a woman told the Spanish reality show “First Dates” that she was looking for love in the Mercadona supermarket between 7 and 8 in the afternoon. Obviously, this has now found its way through TikTok, just with a variation. Singles interested, that is, should have a pineapple in their cart.
