Australia: ‘I ate my grandmother’ – On-air revelation that ‘froze’ radio producers

A terrifying revelation was made by a woman during a famous radio show in Australia, as she revealed that she ate her grandmother’s ashes.

“I ate my grandmother,” the woman said, shocking the producers of the Fifi, Fev & Nick morning radio show.

“I feel like we’re closer than ever. Grandma will live on through me forever”

Naturally the producers were stunned by the revelation and asked the woman who introduced herself as Seyenne from Nar Warren, Victoria how she ate her grandmother.

Here’s how Seyenne explained how it all happened: “My grandma died last year in August and she was cremated and obviously my family and I were grieving, so I went to mom one night and I thought I’d cheer her up a bit… and I said ‘let’s try grandma ‘”.

“After I did it once, I had mum do it because I didn’t want to be alone in it,” she added.

The confession didn’t stop there, as the woman also admitted to pranking her brother, who was recently released from prison, to eat their grandmother’s ashes while staying at her house.

The prank on her brother

“This is the part I haven’t told anyone,” he continued. “We’ve lived together since we were, like, little kids. So I thought it would be funny to prank him … and I put some of grandma’s ashes in the pasta sauce,” he added.

In fact, one of the producers, Brendan Fevola, joked by creating a dish entitled: “Spaghetti alla nan” (spaghetti alla grandma).

“This is so much for me, like I’m taking it on myself,” said another producer, Fifi Box, for her part. “That’s a lot of food for me to eat,” he added.

“I have a strange addiction to ashes”

Seyenne went on to say that she has “a weird addiction” to ashes and believes that eating them helps her connect with her late grandmother.

“I feel like we’re closer than ever,” he said, adding, “Grandma will live on through me forever.”

“Have you stopped eating … her?” Fifi asked her in a follow-up question.

“I’ll say yes for you,” Seyenne replied to the disappointed hosts, adding that she eats the ashes “for fun”.

“Do you have any left?” Fifi asked her further, as she revealed she still had “a whole box full”.

After the phone call according to PeopleBrendan Fevola spoke about himself and the other hosts as he said, “I’m a little shocked. I don’t get shocked very often.”

In a video posted to the show’s Instagram, all three producers can be seen visibly shocked by the confession, as they gasped, giggled and put their heads in their hands at Seyenne’s story.

“This was so disturbing and disgusting,” said one of the many users who commented on the post.
